Workflows
A workflow is the list of production steps a product goes through. Owners, administrators and lab managers maintain them under Production → Workflows.
Default workflows
Every lab starts with workflows in its language:
| Workflow | Used for |
|---|---|
| Fixed restorations | crowns, bridges, inlays, veneers, posts, implant restorations, full-arch |
| Dentures and removable prostheses | complete and partial dentures, combined work, repairs |
| Orthodontic appliances | retainers, removable and fixed appliances, expanders, functional appliances |
| Splints, aligners and guides | splints, sleep appliances, surgical guides, aligners, bonding trays |
| Digital services and models | design services and printed models |
| General (default) | everything else, e.g. your own items |
Each step has planned minutes – a rough value per item used for the workload in the delivery calendar.
Edit a workflow
- Change the name or planned minutes of a step directly in the list.
- Drag a step by its handle to reorder it.
- Remove a step with ×, add one with Add.
- Under ⋯ you can rename the workflow, use it as default or delete it (not the default workflow).
Select New workflow to create your own, empty or as a copy of an existing one – e.g. Implant bridges.
Changes apply to cases accepted afterwards; steps of existing cases stay as they are.
Workflow per product
The table Workflow per product lists your products and services. Automatic chooses the workflow by the product's category (shown in the option, e.g. Automatic: Fixed restorations). Choose another workflow for a product if it is made differently in your lab.
