Products & services

Under Laboratory → Products & services you decide what your laboratory offers. Only items in your offering can get prices and – later – be ordered by your customers.

Add items from the catalog

edonto contains a comprehensive catalog of restorative and orthodontic work, components (e.g. clasps, springs, expansion screws), services (e.g. 3D printing, CAD design) and fees (e.g. shipping, express surcharge).

1. Switch to Add from catalog.
2. Filter by area (All areas, restorative & prosthetic, orthodontics, services & fees) or search for an item.
3. Select Add next to an item, or Add all to add a whole category at once.

Items already in your offering are marked Added.

Components

For orthodontic appliances, also add the components you charge separately, such as Adams clasps, labial bows or expansion screws. They are priced individually and later added to the appliance in the case.

Manage your offering

My offering lists your items by category:

• Active – switch an item off to hide it from customers without losing its prices.
• Edit (pencil) – change the name shown to you and your customers (e.g. your own product name) and the typical production days. If you keep the catalog name, edonto shows it in each user's language.
• Remove (trash) – removes the item and its prices from all price lists.

Own items

For products or services that are not in the catalog – for example your own appliance systems – select Own item, enter name, type (product, component, service or fee), unit (e.g. per tooth, per arch, per case) and production days, and select Create.
