Standard prices
Every laboratory has one list of standard prices in its currency. It applies to all customers who don't have a special price list.
- Select Edit prices on the standard price list.
- Enter the price of each item in the field on the right. The price is saved as soon as you leave the field. You can type amounts with a comma or a point (e.g.
1.234,50or1234.50). - To remove a price, empty the field.
Use Only items without price to find missing prices quickly.
Variants and surcharges
Many items have variants – for example zirconia type and finish of a crown, the alloy of a metal-ceramic crown or the type of a functional appliance. Select Variants next to an item to enter surcharges per variant:
- The surcharge is added to the price when the practice chooses this variant (e.g. Fully layered + R$ 150).
- Leave variants without surcharge empty.
- Negative amounts work as discounts.
Example: zirconia crown R$ 420 + multilayer R$ 60 + fully layered R$ 150 = R$ 630.
Special price lists
Create additional lists for customers or customer groups with different conditions:
- Select New price list.
- Enter a Name, choose the Currency and, under Start with the prices of, an existing list to copy.
- Optionally adjust the copied prices by a percentage, e.g.
-10for 10 % discount. - Select Create and adjust single prices if necessary.
In a special list you only need the prices that differ: an empty field uses the standard price, which is shown in grey as a hint. The same applies to variant surcharges.
Assign the list to a customer or a customer group. Via the menu (…) on a list you can Rename or Delete it; the standard list can't be deleted.
Which price applies?
edonto looks for each price in this order:
- the customer's own price list,
- the price list of the customer's group,
- your standard prices.
Only lists in the same currency are combined. On the customer page, Prices for this customer shows the result and which list each price comes from.
