Lab portal

Your lab portal is your own website on edonto – for example your-lab.edonto.com – with your logo and brand color. Practices register there, send you cases and only ever see your lab. Owners and administrators set it up under Laboratory → Lab portal.

Set up the portal

  1. Choose the address – lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens (e.g. lab-silva). Some addresses such as www or admin are reserved.
  2. Upload your logo (PNG, JPG or WebP up to 2 MB; a wide logo on a transparent background works best). Without a logo, the first letter of your lab's name is shown.
  3. Choose a brand color. It replaces the edonto color on buttons, links and highlights – in light and dark mode.
  4. Optionally write a headline and a welcome text for the start page.
  5. Switch on Portal online and select Save.

The preview shows how logo and color look. Open portal opens it in a new tab; Copy copies the address to share it, e.g. on your website, in emails or on WhatsApp.

Changing the address later breaks links you have already shared. When the portal is switched off, its address shows “not found”.

What your customers see

  • A start page with your logo, headline, welcome text, what you make (the categories of your products and services) and your contact data.
  • Login and registration with your logo and name. edonto is only mentioned as “Powered by edonto”.
  • After login, the app in your colors and with your name. Practices only see your lab: cases, invoices and products of other labs are hidden.

New customers via the portal

When a practice registers on your portal, it sets up its practice and is connected with your lab automatically. You receive a notification and an email; the customer appears in your customer list with the source Lab portal. Check its price list and billing terms.

Practices that already use edonto log in on your portal and select Connect on their dashboard.

Customer invitations you send lead to your portal, too, as long as it is online.

Your team in the portal

Your team can work in the portal as usual – with your branding. Members of other labs can't use your portal.
